1 box honey spice cake mix
2 (2#) cans apple pie filling
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle half the cake mix into 9"x13" pan. Pour over it both cans of apple pie filling, then sprinkle on rest of mix. Stir lemon juice into water and pour evenly over the cake mix layer. bake 50-60 minutes.
Notes: Grammy often served this as a fall bridge club dessert.
Serving Ideas: Top with ice cream, whipped cream or Cool Whip.
